Synthalyst was launched in 2026 by a team of developers, technology experts, and HR professionals who saw the same problem everywhere: talented people losing out on opportunities because their resumes didn't speak the right language.
We built a platform to solve it. Our flagship product, ApplyRight Match, reads the job description and tells you whether you'd actually get the interview — Qualified, Stretch, or Not Qualified. ApplyRight Optimize then tailors your resume for the jobs you'd win. Interview Prep lets you practice for them with realistic mock interviews.
The first version of ApplyRight Match scored resumes the way every other tool in the category does. It did not work — because in over 10 years of hiring, the founder never once used a match score to decide who got the call. Recruiters read resumes. We rebuilt the product to do the same. The new version is in open beta as of May 2026.
